The City School at Spruce Hill provides a kindergarten through 12th grade Christian education within a nurturing community facilitated by caring and accomplished faculty. Between our two campuses we currently serve 273 students.
We value academic integrity for each child, considering his or her unique strengths and weaknesses to encourage the pursuit of life-long learning. The Christian faith is taught, explained and modeled before our children as the context for all of life. The challenges of our city are viewed through a perspective of hope and opportunity as we take advantage of all the city has to offer for the benefit of our students. Our open enrollment policy welcomes a racially, religiously and culturally diverse student population.
A solid academic program at the elementary and middle school levels is combined with strategic initiatives to provide an excellent education. The high school offers a challenging college-preparatory curriculum and currently boasts a 100% college acceptance rate among our graduates. Schools That Can, a national network of high-performance urban schools, recognizes Spruce Hill/CCA for the quality of its leadership and academic programs.
More than 65% of our students receive need-based scholarships through our Annual Fund. These scholarships provide access to our school for families who would otherwise be unable to afford an excellent private education. Financial aid is made available to our families through generous and sacrificial donations from individual and corporate donors, grants and gifts from our own school families. Spruce Hill/CCA commits to serving our families with the inclusive love of Christ.
